Biographical Sketch: Tammy Thomas is an instructor and serves as the Coordinator of Community Programs at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health in the Department of Behavior and Community Health Sciences. She is also a doctoral student and adjunct faculty at the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research has focused on maternal and child health issues, health communication and the use of qualitative research methods.
