Biographical Sketch: Amy Hagopian is on the faculty at the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine, where she teaches, advises students, and conducts research on international health workforce issues. Her particular research interest is in the area of health worker migration from low-income countries to wealthy countries. She is senior health workforce policy adviser to Health Alliance International, a non-governmental organization working with Ministries of Health around the world to improve population health. Hagopian is the elected secretary of the International Health section.
