Biographical Sketch: Alex Charleston has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for close to 18 years. During this time he has worked on a variety of projects including CDC WONDER, Epi Info, the Assessment Initiative, and the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network. Currently, Alex works in the Office of Public Health Genomics. Alex has a Master’s in Public Health and was recently elected vice chairman of the Health Informatics and Information Technology Section of APHA.
