Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Kimberly McBride is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychological and Brain Sciences and Applied Health Science at Indiana University, Bloomington. In the fall of 2008, she completed an NIH-funded postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Adolescent Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Prior to that, Dr. McBride was at pre and postdoctoral fellow at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. Dr. McBride earned her doctorate in Health Behavior from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2006. She also holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Humboldt State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from CSU, Sacramento. Her broad research interests focus on the intersection intrapersonal, interpersonal, and sociocultural factors as determinants of sexual and reproductive health.
