Biographical Sketch: Dr. Sunha Choi is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Social Work at Binghamton University, New York. She received her MSW and Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.Her research has focused on discrepancies in formal health service use among older immigrants and minorities, which often result from structural barriers as well as individual-level barriers to service use. The recent award of the Hartford Geriatric Social Work Faculty Scholars Fellowship has further expanded on her previous research.
