Biographical Sketch: Jason B. Smith, PhD, MPH. In his role as one of MEASURE Evaluation’s Deputy Directors, Dr. Smith provides technical and managerial leadership to the Project’s efforts in Capacity Building, Data Demand and Use, and Knowledge Management. Prior to joining UNC-Chapel Hill, Dr Smith was a long time staff person at Family Health International serving for over 20 years in various scientific roles, most recently (2005-2010) as FHI’s Director of Research Utilization.
