Biographical Sketch: Megan Brady, MPH, MSW
Megan is a Project Coordinator at Henry Ford Health System’s Institute on Multicultural Health in Detroit, Michigan. Currently, she is working on the Healthcare Equity Campaign, a preventive screening project for African American men, the Community Health Advocate Project, and the Reading and Educational Achievement and Development (READ) Program, the latter of which she will speak about today. With her educational background, including a Masters degree in both Public Health and Social Work from the University of Michigan, Megan seeks to eliminate health and healthcare disparities in the Metro Detroit region through promoting healthcare equity and cultural humility at the community and health system levels.
