Biographical Sketch: Erin Knight, is currently a PhD student in Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Delaware, with a particular interest in addressing health inequities through social and policy change. Erin received her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota and has 10 years of practical experience working with state and community-based public health organizations. Most recently, Erin was a Senior Policy Analyst and Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Nemours Health and Prevention Services, a child health organization located in Wilmington, Delaware. There, she helped to develop strategies to improve coordination between a large pediatric healthcare system and its community-based health promotion work. Before moving to Delaware in 2002, Erin worked for the state of Massachusetts, Office of Rural Health, where she managed the Rural Hospital Flexibility Program.
