Biographical Sketch:
Kathy Briant has been working in the cancer field for over ten years. Her expertise includes working with organizations that reach medically underserved populations to help plan, implement, and evaluate effective and sustainable cancer control strategies. In her current role as Partnership Program Manager for the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Information Service (CIS) of the Northwest Region, Kathy serves as a catalyst for cancer control planning and implementation in the region through management and coordination of the Partnership Program. Through the Partnership Program, the CIS collaborates with other organizations to develop appropriate cancer education programs that reach minority and underserved populations. Kathy has a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Education and is a Certified Health Education Specialist.
