Biographical Sketch: Deborah Karasek is a Research Manager at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health, a program of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health at the University of California, San Francisco. She manages qualitative and quantitative studies relating to family planning and abortion care. Ms. Karasek received her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focused on international family planning service delivery and the social determinants of health behavior.
