Biographical Sketch:
Lindsay Senter is the Evaluator and Research Analyst for the NYC Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). NFP is a home visitation program with goals to improve the health, well-being and self-sufficiency of low-income, first-time mothers and their children. Before working with NFP, Lindsay served as Maternal and Infant Health Research Scientist at the DOHMH where she conducted research on maternal and infant health issues pertinent in NYC-- including race/ethnic disparities in premature birth, contraceptive practices,preconception health, and injury-related causes of infant death. Lindsay holds a BA from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington, with concentrations in maternal and child health services and epidemiology.
