Biographical Sketch: Russell K. McIntire is a second year PhD student in Health Behavior at Indiana University, Bloomington. His research interests include: tobacco control, health policy and administration, international health, and program evaluation. Russell has been the recipient of many awards from Indiana University including a research fellowship, academic appointment, and an International Enhancement Grant used to fund an internship with the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Russell is an active member of the Monroe County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coalition, and hopes to produce research that will help reduce the burden of tobacco-related disease in communities.
