Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Riley has been conducting health disparities and HIV prevention research for 13 years, first among incarcerated women, then injection drug users and currently with unstably housed persons. She and her colleagues seek a better understanding of how housing instability, addiction, mental illness and social support influence victimization, risk behavior and sexually transmitted infections among indigent women living in San Francisco.
