Biographical Sketch: Dr. Sloane Burke is an assistant professor at East Carolina University. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Studies, is a Certified Health Education Specialist, and a Public Health Fellow from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Dr. Burke’s research interest is in women’s health, specifically breast cancer and violence against women.
