Biographical Sketch: Dr Coker holds as endowed chair in the Center for Research on Violence Against Women at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She is a full professor in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Epidemiology. Over the past ten years she has conducted several large federally funded projects investigating clinic and population based intervention to reduce the impact of violence on women's health.
