Biographical Sketch:
April Roeseler is the Chief of the Programs and Media Operations Section for the California Tobacco Control Program. She has worked for the California Tobacco program since 1989. Currently, she is responsible for overall implementation of the community and statewide program intervention and the statewide media campaign. She has coordinated numerous statewide policy and legislative initiatives including the state's response to the federal Synar legislation in 1994, Operation Storefront, the STORE Campaign, Communities of Excellence in Tobacco Control and implementation of an Online Tobacco Information System. She received her Masters of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Missouri, Columbia, School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, Fresno.
