Biographical Sketch: Marylyn Morris McEwen, PhD, PHCNS-BC is an Associate Professor at The University of Arizona College of Nursing. She has been involved in community-academic partnerships and CBPR for the past 18 years. She has developed and sustained partnerships with rural and urban communities in the Arizona-Sonora, Mexico border region. Her primary focus has been on building community capacity for decreasing health disparities experienced among Mexican Americans and Mexican immigrants and migrants in the US-MX border region.
