Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am qualified to organize this session because of my experience working binationally (US-Mexico) on the topic of childhood obesity. In my research I investigate the risk factors of obesity among children in high-migration areas of Mexico and Mexican immigrant communities in California. Through this work, I have met colleagues with similar research agendas. I organized this session to bring these researchers together to discuss how our research can inform interventions for this growing segment of the California population.
