Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Ms. Bassan leads Chemonics' unit specializing in health, especially the HIV/AIDS epidemic. She first joined Chemonics in 1991, where she led the firm's Europe and Eurasia division to record sales. She then left for two years to head a USAID-funded NGO partnership for health before returning to the firm in 2000. Since assuming leadership of the health unit, she has dedicated herself to designing "innovative solutions to integrate health across a broad range of development activities." Ms. Bassan has consulted for USAID and nonprofit agencies in Kenya and Sudan.
