Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the Associate Director of the Health Initiative of the Americas. I have coordinated several collaborative agreements and organized exchange and cultural immersion programs between UC and Mexican institutions for medical students, researchers, health providers, and outreach workers. I am also the Grant Coordinator of HIA’s Research Program on Migration and Health topics, and I coordinate the activities of Binational Health Week for selected Bay Area counties with a taskforce representing nearly 80 agencies.
Ms. Alberro is also the Health Commission Coordinator of the Institute of Mexicans Abroad.
