Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Linda Lysoby, MS, CHES, is the Executive Director of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. The mission of The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) is to improve the practice of health education and to serve the public and profession of health education by certifying health education specialists, promoting professional development, and strengthening professional preparation and practice. Linda has more than 18 years experience in creating and presenting topic specific health education programs to the community, hospital staff, physicians and boards. She was responsible for overseeing hospital based Women’s Health Education Initiatives as well as a prenatal clinic for low-income pregnant women.
Linda has co-authored articles in peer reviewed journals including Health Education & Behavior and The American Journal of Health Education. Linda is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has presented at national conferences including the American Public Health Association Conference, The National Organization for Competency Assurance, The Society for Public Health Educators Conference and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education and Dance.
