We received coverage in the Times-Picayune twice, the newspaper The Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA) twice, the newspaper The Gambit Weekly (New Orleans, LA), the wire service United Press International, and the Tavis Smiley Radio Show (on 05/30/08).
*I devised and implemented the partner publication outreach strategy for Research!America's 2008 Your Candidates-Your Health initiative. We received front page coverage in The Nation's Health. The initiative and the outreach are still ongoing.
*I track public health news on an ongoing basis to write press releases and other announcements distributed to Research!America members and the public as part of Research!America's public health advocacy effort.
