This session will challenge participants to conceptualize pregnancy care outside of the parameters of traditional prenatal care by explaining the life course perspective, describing the influence of preconception and interconception factors on pregnancy, and presenting healthy pregnancy intervention strategies that occur outside the context of traditional prenatal care.
