Learn how to do effective grassroots organizing in support of a public health campaign! This session will give participants the basic tools needed to implement a grassroots campaign on the federal, state or local levels. Participants will receive an overview of the different components to putting together a successful advocacy campaign, such as planning a strategy, developing a message, obtaining funding, and setting and achieving goals. Panelists also will share their perspectives on what works to engage the public, lawmakers, the media, and partners in support of public health.
