The presentations in this session will provide perspectives on the public health policy agenda for the new Administration that takes office in January 2009. The agenda options will be addressed from several standpoints and will include the need for a public health perspective, prevention, access to services (prevention and intervention), and models for grass-roots organizing. There will be an opportunity for audience discussion with the panelists.
Session Objectives: To highlight and discuss the need for a policy agenda that encompasses public health as well as health care reform.
