Obesity rates continue to escalate among youth and adult populations. Reducing or stabilizing this deadly trend – and the related negative health outcomes – is a public health priority. This round table session is devoted to novel approaches to addressing the determinants of overweight and obesity in various populations.
Session Objectives: 1.Discuss the importance of and challenges in changing food and physical activity environments to prevent obesity. 2. Compare and contrast the benefits, challenges, and limitations of divergent approaches to addressing obesity among youth and adult populations
