This session will provide attendees with information on quantifying the public-sector public health workforce, and on tailoring education and training activities to prepare the future public health workforce.
Session Objectives: Articulate challenges currently facing the public health workforce. Describe efforts to track the number of people who comprise segments of the public health workforce. Identify efforts to strengthen the public health workforce.
