Faculty will provide attendees with an overview of the HCUP resources, including information about the five main types of HCUP databases, the related software tools, and research publications. The nature of administrative data, in general, will be discussed and the benefits/limitations of working with administrative data will be presented.

List the five main types of HCUP databases and related resources. Discuss the nature of administrative data. List the benefits of working with administrative data. List the limitations of working with administrative data.
