The APHA Education Board is concerned in part with maintaining and enhancing the professional knowledge of APHA members. In order to learn more about the membership's educational preferences, a stratified random sample of six out of 25 APHA sections was selected. The six sections were PHN, CHPPD, HIV/AIDS, ICEHS, Disability and Social Work. Emails were sent by APHA to the membership in these sections in the spring of 2009. Responses to the survey were made using Zoomerang. Questions included information on age, gender, race, workplace setting, degree status, educational preference and mode of delivery. This presentation will discuss the survey methodology, describe the content areas categories used, and discuss the data collected. Survey weaknesses and recommendations for future research will also be discussed.

Learning Objectives:
Describe the survey methodology Identify the content area categories that were selected for further learning. Discuss survey weaknesses and recommendations for future research.
