There have been many improvements in national policies and programs concerning war and public health under the Obama Administration. Nevertheless, areas of concern remain. This presentation will explore the current status of Obama Administration policies and programs concerning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, nuclear weapons, and other relevant issues.
Learning Objectives: Describe current issues regarding war and public health under the Obama Administration, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and nuclear weapons policy.
Describe what public health workers can do to improve policies and programs to address these issues.
