This four-hour workshop will introduce participants to the policy change process, inclduing how a local or state coalition might influence both policy development and implementation.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been a Research Associate Professor in the Dept. of Health Behavior and Health Education at the UNC Gillings School for Global Public Health for the past eleven years. I have been a guest lecturer in graduate management courses at UNC and am currently the lead developer for a competency-based curriculum to help the public health professionals learn to influence policy and environments.
