This presentation will discuss the implications for training and upgrading the skills of frontline practitioners with the implementation of HIT. This presentation will also assess the impact that exclusion of frontline professionals from the development of HIT would have on the training element of the process and how support for necessary training that may be required can be encouraged at multiple levels.

Learning Objectives:
1. Evaluate the impact of HIT implementation with respect to training needs for the workforce utilizing it. 2. Analyze how support for training tied to HIT implementation can be fostered at multiple levels.
