For three decades, the Healthy People initiative has helped define public health policies and programs. This presenter will discuss the current public health priorities and how they are reflected in Healthy People and project how these priorities, policies and programs may evolve and the effect that evolution will have on Healthy People 2020. The presentation will also define ways in which various users of Healthy People objectives can implement them in their specific settings.
