Healthy People objectives are evidence based and data driven. Over three decades, the National Center for Health Statistics has built the premier database that supports the Healthy People objectives. This presenter will discuss the data requirements for Healthy People 2020 objectives, the strategies for making the Healthy People data widely available to the public, and demonstrate how users of the data can access and format the data in ways that are most effective for their purposes.
