The Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) adopted an aggressive work plan to launch the national voluntary public health accreditation program in 2011. Learning Objectives:
Describe an overview of the PHAB strategic plan for developing a national voluntary public health accreditation program. Discuss the events that led to the current accreditation activities.
