Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am qualified to teach this course because I have 15 years experience in the practical application of informatics and statistics for public health and healthcare organizations. My professional work involves leveraging statistical analysis to improve clinical operational processes and maximize patient outcomes. As Senior Research Analyst at Krasnoff Quality Management Institute, I am responsible for providing the analytical support, ranging from descriptive to relational statistics, often focusing on multiple regression and risk-adjustment modeling. My work is intended to provide clinicians and administrators with a foundation to objectively assess and improve the quality of care. In addition to this, I have taught health care and business professionals about data analysis and performance improvement at local, regional, and national forums, and have been instrumental in developing educational curricula. As faculty member of the Center for Learning & Innovation at North Shore-LIJ Health System, I have been teaching clinicians and administrators the application of statistical analysis and quality management.
