Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have over 30 years of experience in the private industry, academia, and government (federal and state). I am currently the Director of the Public Health System, Finance, and Quality Program and chair of the HHS Public Health Systems Working Group. I am also an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi and hold academic appointments at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Health Professions, and the Medical Knowledge Insitute in the Netherlands. I serve on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice (JPHMP) and was guest editor of two public health finance issues of the JPHMP. I organized and moderated the first national conferences on public health systems research and public health finance convened in 2006 and 2007.
