Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Over the past sixteen years I have been a member of the U.S. EPA's "Pathogen Equivalency Committee" which is responsible for evaluating alternative technologies for disinfection of municipal
sludges consistent with Federal regulations. During my tenure as a Senior Microbiologist with the committee, I have served as Acting Chair of the PEC and provide guidance on sludge treatment issues to EPA Regional Offices and state Biosolids Coordinators.
