I am presently the Director of Community-Based Public Health at the University of Michigan School of Public Health (CBPH-UMSPH). CBPH-UMSPH, fosters community-academic partnerships that address a number of community-based public health concerns through the execution of CBPR methods. Prior work involved the development of research conferences and programs emphasizing the importance of community-based research in generating valuable outcomes for communities at NIH and elsewhere in the Federal government. My education includes a post doctoral fellowship in community-based research methods.
