Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have a PhD in public health from the University of Michigan and have worked at the CDC as a health economist for 13 years. Since 2002 I have served as the senior health economist in CDC's National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. I have published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles in the past 5 years, in addition to three book chapters published this year. I have extensive experience in the analysis of administrative claims data on health care use and expenditures.
