Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am principal investigator of an NIMH funded Center Grant to study the social contexts of recovery from mental illness. One key aim of the Center is to develop research capacity and skills among disability rights advocates and users of services, and all Center leadership participate actively in the design and conduct of seminars and Institutes to do so. I have published research on recovery, on improving system contexts for treatment, on issues important to recovery for women diagnosed with mental health conditions. I have presented extensively at APHA and other national and local (NYS) conferences on services research.
