An Associate Professor in Epidemiology in the University of Maryland College Park School of Public Health, I have published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications on Latino health and health disparities. I give lectures on epidemiologic methods, cultural competency and health disparities to medical, dental and public health students. I have more than 25 years of experience in planning, coordinating and organizing educational activities and similar types of work.
