Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have worked in community and public health for the majority of my career. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Ethnic Studies, a Masters Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Public Health Practice, and a Doctorate Degree in Forensic Psychology with specialties in Organizational Behavior and Administration and Management. I have provided mental health services to different age groups in various settings, including jails, prisons, and locked community hospitals. I have also done a variety of HIV/AIDS outreach, prevention and care work, conducting research to shape planning, services, and policy development. I currently serve as an associate professor at several universities, sit on the Institutional Review Board for a large hospital system, and am the Community Outreach Department director at a 400-bed non-profit hospital where I implement and oversee a variety of programs designed to provide tailored health education and services based on the ever-changing community health climate.
