Global trade policy and practices have an effect on human health, worker safety and health, migration of health workers, access to medicines, the natural environment and democratic participation that future public health workers must be able to address. This session will look at trade policy mechanisms through which health is influenced.
Session Objectives: By the end of the session participants will be able to: 1. List at least three mechanisms through which trade or trade policy are influenced, 2. Describe at least three current issues in trade and health of concern to public health professionals.
