In South Asia, it was found that accessing health care services by the migrants in host countries and after their return to home are inadequate for most migrants, particularly the poor and that leadership skills can be promoted in India with the right kind of partnership. The Resource Requirement Tool (RRT) was developed to help countries estimate and project the costs and expenditures necessary for scaling up the education and employment of the health work force while a WHO model is applied in Haiti.
Session Objectives: To promote leadership development in India. To apply WHO models for workforce support in Haiti. Analyze the risk of spreading communicable diseases from migration of workers from South Asia To provide an overview of the tool for costing human resources for health so that participants to estimate costs and expenditures necessary for scaling up the education and employment of their health workforce;
