"One Water" is collaboration among the School of Communication, College of Engineering, the Frost School of Music, and the School of Education at the University of Miami. Filmed in 15 countries in both hemispheres the film highlights the abundance and scarcity of water. It asks the question of whether water is a human right or a commodity. :One water" uses visual sequences, expert commentary, and local music performed by the Russian National Orchestra to give the audience a direct experience of the meaning of water and produces an emotional experience for the audience.
Session Objectives: Discuss the implications of unequal access to clean water globally.
Identify the root causes of unequal distribution of clean water.
Describe the role of industrialized countries in the current water crisis
