The MEPS data collection methodology as it pertains to the medical condition data collected in the MEPS will be discussed. Information collected about chronic and acute conditions, coding, linkage of conditions to events and prescribed drugs, priority conditions asked in the priority condition section of the questionnaire, and caveats of the medical conditions collected in MEPS will be discussed.
