Health insurance data collected in the MEPS Household Component and Insurance Component will be described. Information on the different types of health insurance estimates (point-in-time, ever, full-year, spells of un- insurance) will be described.

Learning Objectives: 1) The participants will be able to list the analytical capabilities of MEPS as it relates to health insurance status. 2) Participants will be able to describe the different ways health insurance status can be estimated.
