Cancer penetrates all populations. We must learn to identify what are the causes of health disparities between populations & individuals. In the process of highlighting a difference, we are much more than a mere observer, who notices a difference. We tend to fragment disease, population and even the human body in the assumption that our focus will help achieve greater attention to specifics & ensure concentration on one goal or objective to achieve a higher result or end –point. However, a disease like cancer is only a reminder to us as human beings, that one organ is connected to another by blood & lymph, just the way segmented parts of society all have a common bond & connection – one far greater than that which divides us. We can choose to subsist or plainly exist. But it is in our best interests that we learn to be alive & for doing so we need to reach out to all. The goal should be to be equal & not equitable, because that is the cause of the divide
