This poster session will share with viewers a valuable resource that has been developed to provide training for community-based care providers of persons with develomental or intellectual disabilities. A code of ethics for direct care providers will be reviewed. The resources including information on values to promote ethical treatment of persons with developmental disailities, on relationships with families of persons with developmental disabilities, on the importance of positive communication, on how to implement positive behavioral supports, on interdisciplinary teamworks and how to develop personal plans. Extensive information is available on personal care and safety and on oral and dental health. Viewere will be provided information on how to access these resources.
